Doctoral Program in International Law

The Doctoral Program in International Law offers advanced education aimed at enabling students to conduct independent and original academic research in the field of international law. The program seeks to cultivate experts capable of approaching complex international legal issues with a critical perspective, producing academic publications, and making scientific contributions.

Throughout the thesis-focused process, students conduct in-depth analyses in areas such as the interpretation of international treaties, war crimes, diplomatic immunities, and the functioning of international judicial bodies. The program supports an interdisciplinary approach, interacting with fields such as political science, international relations, and human rights.

Graduates of the program may serve as academics at universities, as well as work in various roles such as international legal consultants, judges, diplomats, or foreign policy experts. They may also play active roles in negotiation and reconciliation processes conducted between states and within international organizations.
